About Virtute Labore
Better leadership should create visible change.
Leadership development should change how someone leads. Consulting should change how an organization operates. Too often, neither happens.
Organizations invest heavily in leadership programs and consulting engagements. Presentations happen. Frameworks are introduced. Then everyone goes back to work — and the same silos, the same behaviors, the same struggle to execute remain.
Virtute Labore exists to offer something different: we help organizations understand what's really in the way, bring the right people to the table, and stay close enough to see whether anything actually changes.
We're not interested in activity for the sake of activity. We're interested in what changes.
Why Virtute Labore Exists
Four areas that determine organizational performance.
We believe they're inseparable — a leadership issue becomes a retention problem; a culture issue becomes a customer problem.
Leadership
How people lead, decide, and build trust.
Culture
What's actually reinforced every day.
Experience
Where internal friction becomes external pain.
Performance
How strategy becomes execution.
Leadership→Culture→Experience→Performance
The Meaning Behind the Name
Work is good.
Virtute Labore reflects a belief at the foundation of the firm: work has dignity, regardless of title, position, or task.
The name is grounded in a Christian understanding that work carries purpose beyond compensation — it can develop character, serve others, and strengthen communities. Within that, leadership is stewardship: to know people, tell them the truth, and create an environment where meaningful work can be done well.
We proudly work with leaders of every background while staying grounded in the convictions the firm was founded on.
Character to Lead. Discipline to Deliver.
Twenty years of notes before a single slide.
Founder
Operator first. Consultant second.
Carlos Saez
Founder & Managing PartnerFor more than 20 years, Carlos worked inside Fortune 500 organizations spanning aerospace, defense, digital technology, and higher education — the kind of complex, high-stakes change that tests character as much as competence.
The firm grew out of something he saw repeatedly: the presentation would end, Monday would come, and nothing would change. Not because organizations lacked ideas — but because too few ideas became behavior, systems, and follow-through.
His approach starts with listening — to the frontline manager and the customer, not just the executive team — then getting the right people around the table to build what actually works.

Good leaders dare to be different. Leadership isn't about authority — it's about responsibility.
The Virtute Labore Standard
We measure our work by what changes after we leave.
- Are your leaders better equipped to lead?
- Is the organization operating differently?
- Are customers and employees feeling the difference?
- Can your team sustain it without us?
The ARC Framework™
Connecting the human side of leadership with the operating side of performance.
Courage, trust, clarity, humility, accountability.
Ownership, healthy conflict, continuous improvement.
People and process, connected to customer experience and results.
Bilingual. Cross-Cultural.
Built for the people doing the work.
We serve organizations across the United States and Latin America — leadership adapted for how people actually lead, not translated slide-for-slide.
What Success Looks Like
Four questions we ask at the end of every engagement.
- Are the leaders better equipped to lead?
- Is the organization operating differently?
- Are employees and customers experiencing the difference?
- Can the organization sustain it without us?
If the answer is yes, we've done our job.
Final Word
You probably don't need another presentation.
You need to understand what's actually in the way, the right people at the table, and a structure to turn clarity into execution.
